Jeffrey W. Martin
Jeff Martin is a native of Dallas and attended Jesuit College Preparatory School before studying at the University of Texas at Austin and St. Mary’s University School of Law. He has represented a wide variety of businesses faced with catastrophic losses and high risk claims, and has extensive knowledge of complex litigation involving commercial trucking, transportation, product defects, construction defects, oil well disasters, premises liability, and general insurance defense. He currently serves as general outside counsel for oilfield services, transportation, and hospitality companies, and has broad experience representing clients ranging from small business partnerships to Fortune 500 companies.
Jeff also has experience in national lending practices, and has served as an advisor to national corporate counsel regarding regulatory compliance and loss mitigation. He has represented banking institutions in mortgage-backed securities litigation involving: foreclosures, evictions, title curative, deed of trust reformations, tax lien disputes, homeowner's association disputes, bankruptcy (creditor), and probate.
