Charlie Lyman tried his first lawsuit to a jury verdict two weeks after going to work for the firm (then known as Talbert, Giessel & Stone) in 1972. Since that first trial, he has tried over 200 cases to verdict.
Mr. Lyman's practice focuses on representation of individuals and companies, large and small, in construction-related litigation, products liability medical device litigation, professional-malpractice claims, premises-liability cases, personal-injury matters, plant-explosion cases, catastrophic industrial accident cases, as well as all other types of civil litigation. He has been Board Certified in Personal Injury Trial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization for more than thirty years.
Mr. Lyman has an AV ("Preeminent") peer review rating from Martindale-Hubbell, and he has been awarded Diplomate status by his peers in the American Board of Trial Advocates (ABOTA). He is a past president of the Houston, Texas ABOTA Chapter. He has also been selected for the Texas Super Lawyers® list by Thompson Reuters every year since 2005.
