Amanda graduated cum laude from Cameron University where she received her B.A. in English and a minor in History. Next, she attended Baylor School of Law where she participated in the Dawson & Sodd, P.C. Moot Court Competition and finished as a quarterfinalist. During law school, she also worked as a summer clerk at an estate planning boutique firm in Rockwall, Texas. Here she drafted pleadings and memos, and also co-authored an article published in an issue of the Dallas Bar Association's Headnotes.
Amanda has worked on both plaintiff and defense cases in oil and gas, real estate and personal injury litigation, including serving as Second Chair trial counsel. Prior to joining the firm, she worked as an associate attorney in Corpus Christi focusing on medical malpractice and insurance defense claims. She has represented more than 20 physicians, nurses and physician extenders in front of the Texas Medical Board with no public reprimands or loss of physician licenses.
